Defibrillator Training

At the start of 2017 there were no public defibrillators in Windlesham. There are now three; in the phone box in the centre of Windlesham installed by the Pram Race and Surrey Border Lions, at the Field of Remembrance and at Windlesham Bowls club. A fourth is planned for the Half Moon pub.

Free training in CPR and the use of an automatic defibrillator

To widen understanding of the use of these defibrillators the Pram Race committee are organising free training in CPR and the use of an automatic defibrillator with a fully qualified First Aid trainer.

There will be two sessions for up to 8 people, the first on Saturday 4 May, 10.00 – 11.00 and the second on Thursday 23 May at 19.30 – 20.30. Both training sessions will be held in the Olive Room, The Link at St John’s Church, Church Road, Windlesham, GU20 6BL.
