Opening Event: Explore Windlesham’s New Village Green Space!

We have some wonderful news for everyone who loves the outdoor spaces in our village. The Windlesham Society is delighted to invite all residents to the official opening of the new SANG (Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace) on Woodlands Lane.

This extensive area of dedicated parkland sits directly opposite the former Heathpark Woods site (now under development as Crownfield Court). It was created as part of the local planning requirements to ensure our community retains a beautiful, protected pocket of nature right on our doorstep.

Whether you want to explore the new walking paths, enjoy the open meadows, or just take a fresh look at our lovely Surrey countryside, we would love for you to join us to celebrate its launch.

Event Details:

• When: Wednesday, June 17th at 4:00 PM

• Where to Meet: Please gather in good time at the entrance of Crownfield Court.

• Four-Legged Friends: Dogs are very welcome to attend!

• Refreshments: A refreshments van will be on-site to keep everyone hydrated.
